SkyAware turns severe-weather products, current conditions, and location context into a calm dashboard that answers one question: how weather-aware do you need to be right now?

Behind the scenes, SkyAware keeps alert data current and matches alerts to registered areas using coarse location-derived fields. Your precise latitude and longitude are not sent to SkyAware services for notification targeting.

    SkyAware uses your current location to understand your nearby forecast zones, fire zones, county context, and severe-weather coverage area.

  2. Combine trusted weather products

    The app brings together current conditions, convective outlooks, SPC risk areas, mesoscale discussions, watches, warnings, and fire-weather context into one focused summary.

  3. Resolve what matters now

    SkyAware compares your local context against official alert and risk areas, then highlights the current risk profile, active alerts, and the weather signals worth your attention.

  4. Notify when it affects your area

    When enabled, SkyAware can notify you about relevant NWS alerts, mesoscale discussions, and daily awareness summaries for your registered area.
